This blog post is very interesting and I enjoyed the piece. I like how with evidence you proved that Elon is incorrect about his statement that Aliens built the pyramids. It is crazy how the Egyptians found away to build these giant pyramids with pure man strength and strategy. Glad that conspiracy is addressed and talked about with great evidence.

This was super interesting and enjoyable to read! I loved the element of flippant humor that you used throughout the piece - I felt that it really helped drive home the absurdity of the allegations that alien activity is responsible for some of the most renowned and widely admired Egyptian structures. I think it is incredibly dangerous and really just plain ignorant for people (especially those like Elon Musk with substantial platforms and incredible power to persuade millions and millions of people with a simple off-the-cuff tweet) to falsely insinuate that aliens are responsible for creating the precision and beauty that is Egyptian structures. Whether said in joking manner or not, it is incredibly offensive to attribute such cultural iconographies…

This is a really interesting piece about a topic I’ve definitely been curious about. The ancient Egyptians do seem to be constantly accused of being unable to create these structures- and it often hasn’t been in praise that their abilities were questioned but in disbelief that they were capable. White-washing of Egyptians and the taught cultural separation of Egypt from their continent of Africa are other ways in which Euro-centrism has affected the ancient Egyptians, and I am happy to see the myth of aliens also addressed.

This is an amazing piece. I completely agree with your analysis that the conspiracy of the Egyptian civilization, particularly the Great Pyramids is racist and "drags colonial sentiments into the present,". As you perfectly state, European civilization since it's dawn has been supported and actualized by everyone. There is no contention on the validity of European civilizations, however many choose to dismiss Egyptian civilization as having had to have been created by some "other" - that it is unfathomable to imagine ancient Egyptians as being capable of such work.
